THE INTER-MUNICIPAL SERVICE FOR CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

OF THE CITIES OF ARCO AND RIVA DEL GARDA.

The two municipalities of Arco and Riva del Garda established to encourage and facilitate intermunicipal cooperation through the associated organisation of cultural activities. The “Intermunicipal Service for Cultural Activities of the cities of Arco and Riva del Garda” officially started its work on the 1st of March 2009 with the main purpose of harmonizing and further improving the local cultural events.

The inter-municipal service aims at undertaking common projects in order to grant more coordination, a higher level and a more widespread coverage of the cultural events taking place in the area.

In addition to the traditional ones, the service intends to promote new events and give them a high connnotation of public interest. This should be achieved by displaying such events in the evocative setting of the major cultural places of the area with the support of the traditional local promoting agencies and associations.

Although the municipality of Arco is the prime contractor of the agreement, both cities host information desks:
